A Begining

I think these are some of the most inspirational lines ever written, and thought it would make sense to make this my first post, although it isn't original.

Here's to Rabindranath Tagore, and the Gitanjali..

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high

Where knowledge is free

Where the world has not been broken up into fragments

By narrow domestic walls

Where words come out from the depths of truth

Where tireless striving stretches its arms out towards perfection
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way
Into the deary desert sands of dead habit.
Where the mind is led forward by thee,
Into ever-widening thought and action.
Into the heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.

quite a few typos in there... but that's alright

it's one of my favourite inspirational poems...a pity though none of it has been achieved even after 60 yrs of independence.

also kinda late on commenting (by a year), i liked the posts :)
